Charitable Works of Service
The members of the Midland Stove Team volunteer through HELPS International to
install vented stoves and water filters into homes of the impoverished population in the
remote Mayan communities of Guatemala.
Our passion is changing lives by helping to create healthier homes and schools.

Mission Team
This is the 2026 group of 32 volunteers, based out of Michigan, Massachusettes, Florida, and Colorado. We are mostly retired (not a requirement) and there is a Midland, MI connection with us all. Mostly, we share a kindred spirit!
We always have some new folks join us each year (and this team had 11 new volunteers); serving alongside others who’ve returned for a variety of years.
